The truly most rewarding moments of my 16 year teaching career are when I'm able to work 1:1 with students. It is in this environment where students thrive on the personalised attention, that gives the students lots of opportunities to succeed and enjoy learning whether the progress is made in fairy steps or giant leaps. My degree, training and teaching experience has English, and the love of the subject, at the heart of it. I sincerely believe in assessment for learning, and the power of constructive and tailor made feedback. This is essential to an effective teacher too!
